This painting was born from a desire to capture the vitality of floral forms through movement rather than description. To achieve this, I explored the interplay of contrasts, bringing together graphic definition and soft blurring, volume and flatness within the same pictorial space.

Working in oil allowed me to develop a rich chromatic depth, where dark, earthy tones coexist with brighter, more luminous passages. The result is a painting that feels vibrant and alive.

Beneath the visible surface, successive layers of paint create a textured foundation that enriches the work with depth and subtle complexity. These underlying strata give the painting its quiet intensity, inviting the viewer to linger and discover new details over time.
